  • Project Site Manager Position

    Project Site Manager
    Shift Time: Full time, salaried
    Pay Rate: negotiable, depending on experience

    Job Description:

    This position is an entry level management position for an Industrial Waste/Oily Waste (IW/OW) treatment facility.

    Position requires a general knowledge of chemistry and supervisory experience.  Must be able to independently analyze environmental, industrial, process, and facility engineering problem.  Must develop mitigation and corrective actions that will ensure that customer activities remain in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

    Position Requirements:
    Educational background in physical sciences such as engineering, math, chemistry, physics, or environmental science.  Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn.

    At a minimum, a B.A. or B.S. in Science or Engineering.

    All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT and criminal background investigation in order to obtain military base access and use company vehicles. Employment offer is contingent upon a pre-employment health screening.

    Work Days: 5 consecutive days, Monday thru Sunday, 40+ hours per week
    Shift Time: Alternating shift work schedule
    Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour + 4.27 per hour for benefits
    Reports Directly To: Hazardous Waste Supervisor
    Job Description:

    Noreas Environmental Services LLC is looking for Hazardous Materials Technician to interface with our customer.  This is a key role in an organization with a proud history of superior safety performance, environmental compliance and customer service.  The successful candidate will work with our customers to obtain data necessary to ensure surrendered hazardous materials are properly identified, segregated and packaged for transport to a centralized processing/storage area.  They will then consolidate like materials to prepare them for final disposal.  We are looking for people who share our goals and commitment to excellence.  Previous hazardous material management experience and a driving a CDL licensed truck strongly preferred.  Must be fluent in English and be able to pass a security check.
    Physical Demands:

    Position requires standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching, grasping, stooping, crouching, climbing, speaking, listening, sitting, driving, and walking.  The use of common hand tools such as: wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, brooms, and shovels are required.
