About Noreas Environmental Services (NES), LLC
NES, LLC performs Industrial Waste and Oily Waste (IW/OW) treatment services and Hazardous Material and Hazardous Waste material (HM/HW) for the United States Navy Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) at various locations throughout the San Diego Metro Area. IW/OW includes operation and maintenance of facilities, collection, screening, storage and treatment, disposal of treated IW/OW, management of recovered oil, IW/OW metric data collection and records and document preparation and maintenance.
HM/HW management includes accumulation sites and storage facilities operations, collection of HM/HW, transportation of HM/HW, HW disposal, HW metric data collection, recycling, non-hazardous collection and accumulation, textile cleaning, and recording and document preparation and maintenance. Additionally, NES performs oil and hazardous substance spill containment, clean-up, disposal, reporting, and documentation.
Primary locations for hazardous material and hazardous waste (HM/HW) management, spill response and clean-up, and industrial waste and oily waste (IW/OW) treatment encompass Naval Base Coronado (NBC), which includes Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) and Naval Amphibious Base (NAB); Naval Base San Diego (NBSD); and Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL). Services may also be provided at other NAVFAC SW AOR installations, such as Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Marine Corps Recruiting Depot (MCRD), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), and San Clemente Island.
